Plane gaskets can be made of pure graphite sheets with or without reinforcement.
The thicknesses of the GRAFEX plane gaskets vary from 0,5mm to 4 mm.
We can supply impregnated sheets, for better impermeability and nonadherent surfaces.
Technical features:
- Fluid temperature: - 200º C … + 550º C;
- All range of fluids to be sealed with pH from 0 to 14;
- Fluid pressure: according to the sealing surfaces construction as follows:
- Not-reinforced expanded graphite plane gaskets for pressures up to 40 bars;
- Steel sheets reinforced expanded graphite plane gaskets for pressures up to 160 bars.
