Pre-formed gaskets are manufactured by expanded graphite across a wide variety of the cross section shapes (square, trapezoidal, triangular…) and dimensions, as per the Customers requirements.

These gaskets are used by stacks especially in valve stem sealing in gland arrangements, having on top and below graphite braided packing as antiextrusion ring.

Also, these gaskets are used in various combinations with rings made in PTFE and/or graphite packing for achieving superior sealing properties.
Technical features of the plate gaskets in expanded graphite are:

• Fluid temperature:
  
  • -200ºC … + 550ºC (only for graphite stacks);
  • -50ºC ... +200ºC (for PTFE + graphite stacks);
    
    
• All range of fluids to be sealed with pH from 0 to 14;
  
  
• Fluid pressure: up to 350 bar
